Facts about our lightshow!
Many of our props are built from the ground up. From wiring thousands of pixels to planning the layout of the lightshow and building controllers, the show is designed and built by our family.
Every light is individually programmed. Every effect is custom sequenced using professional lighting software, allowing the lights to dance perfectly in sync with the music.
Most of our props are hand-painted and customized. Many of the decorations are carefully painted by hand to give the show a unique look you won't find anywhere else.
Behind the Scenes!
September 2026:
We're getting ready to put the props out in the yard soon. The Halloween show will start on the first week of October. The sequences are finished, and the props are almost ready to be put in place!
July 2026: We are working away to prepare for our Halloween show. Above you will see one of our many hand-painted props that both look great at night and also give serious day-core vibes when the sun is up. Here, we are testing one of the many 200-pixel strings it's made of. In total, this prop has over 1500 pixels, which took several days to install. But it's worth it. When it's all lit up, it looks incredible!
About us
We are a family that enjoys Halloween and Christmas displays every holiday season. So in 2025, we decided to build our own custom pixel light show. Currently, 14-year-old Ryan puts pixels into the props, does the show programming on the computer, and decides how all of the stuff in the show is arranged in the yard and on the house. Dad focuses more on the heavy-duty work, such as pouring concrete for prop bases, cutting pipes to make frames for props, and splicing together the many hundreds of strings in the show so that they'll play no matter what the weather has in store for the show. Speaking of the show, it is pretty complex and every one of the 30,000-plus lights is individually programmed. Every effect is custom sequenced using professional lighting software, allowing the lights to dance perfectly in sync with the music.
